Drainage system installation begins this week on Tamina Road! The activity is the next phase of the Tamina Road Enhancement Project, which aims to deliver increased mobility, safety and aesthetics. WMPID is excited about this progress on the vital connector between FM1488 and FM2978, well known in the community for its congestion and safety issues.
Keeping Local Sales Tax Dollars Local!
Those who frequent Tamina Road have seen the median clearing that has been completed, intended to make room for left-turn and bike lanes. New pedestrian walkways will also give area residents and visitors a safer and easier way to access retail businesses along Tamina Road. The delay between clearing and drainage work results from a phased project bid process to stretch funds impacted by inflationary costs.
