Kelly Hamann joined the Executive Team as Deputy Director in 2017, where she assists the Executive Director in his representation of WMPID’s interests and the Board of Directors directives, which include, the expansion of the district’s boundaries, long-range planning and promoting the economic development interests of the District. She has been an important addition to the team and brings skills that are invaluable to the maintenance and growth of a very busy Special Purpose District.

Kelly has been a resident in the Magnolia area for more than 20 years. She has a varied background in the Corporate and Non-Profit sectors and is a former business owner and Chamber of Commerce President. Her talents include all aspects of running a business, business development and relations, successful design, implementation and execution of marketing plans, all phases of grant writing, finance and strategic planning.

Prior to serving the community in a leadership capacity, Ms. Hamann owned a thriving Horticultural firm, earning the distinguished title of ‘Small Business of the Year’ by Lone Star Community College. As such, she is intimately familiar with the positive impact community organizations can make on small businesses. Kelly is a 2005 graduate of Leadership North Houston and 2015 graduate of Leadership Montgomery County and has completed 2 years of Texas Community Development Institute. She has served on several community boards including Leadership Montgomery County, Regional Arts Council and currently serves on her HOA board and leads the Beautification Committee in her neighborhood.
