Clearing of Tamina Road
Westwood Magnolia Parkway Improvement District (WMPID) has launched a project to improve access and flow between the heavily trafficked FM1488 and FM2978. Designed to increase the mobility, safety, and aesthetic value of the area, the project will enhance the community’s overall quality of life. In order to ensure cost-effectiveness, the project will be bid in phases. The first phase of work will include clearing the median. More specifically, unhealthy trees that are prone to storm damage will be removed, making room for the addition of left-turn lanes and bike lanes.
The bid opening for this phase of the project is Tuesday, June 27th, 2023. Sealed proposals addressed to Westwood Magnolia Parkway Improvement District for construction of the Clearing for Tamina Road will be received at the office of the Engineer, LJA Engineering, until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2023. To attend the Bid Opening by telephone, call 1-346-202-6170. To learn more about the Tamina Road Project, click here. Or, to begin the bidding process electronically, click here.
